Ryokanit – Shigaraki

"Tyylikäs hotelli, tilava huone, kiva spa. Sijainti hieman keskustasta sivussa, mutta busseilla pääsi hyvin ja juna-asemakin oli vieressä, mutta sellainen linja, että emme itse käyttäneet, vaan aina pääsi nopeammin bussilla."

"We had a wonderful stay in Kyoto. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day. Our room was one of the most basic options, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A big highlight was the laundry room, well equipped with multiple washing and drying machines. Washing cost 600 yen, and drying was priced by time, which was very convenient during our trip. Service was excellent and the staff was accommodating."

"Sisustus on tyylikäs, jo hotelliin sisääntulo rauhoittaa zen-tyylillään. Huone oli erinomaisessa kunnossa, isot vuoteet kolmelle ja toimiva tilan käyttö. Vierailijoille oli hygieniatarvikkeita. Pidin monipuolisesta aamiaisesta ja henkilökohtaisesta palvelusta. Hotellin kylpylä oli mahtava lisä positiiviseen kokemukseen! Hotelli sijaitsee suht lähellä Kioton asemaa. Sinne pääsee metrolla, taksilla tai viileämmällä säällä kävellen. Hotellin vieressä on muutamia kauppoja ja varsinaiset ostoskadut ovat noin 15-20 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä."

"Rauhallisessa paikassa sijaitseva oikein mukava pienehkö hotelli, jossa oikein palvelualtis henkilökunta. Lähimmälle metroasemalle oli matkaa n. 900 metriä. "

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location. Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance. Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly. Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing. With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."

"Ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Onsen oli kiva lisä ja iso kylpyamme huoneessa. Voin suositella kokonaisuudessaan! Hotelli on lähellä kioton asemaa ja vieressä on hyviä ravintoloita."
