Lähellä useita vesiputouksia ja Kuvassa Rocks National Lakeshore

Sijaitsee pieni kylä Shingleton Mi. vain 8 kilometrin päässä Munisingista. Tämä on täydellinen vuokra-asunto, jos olet mönkijöillä, kun polut ovat oikein ulos matkustamon takaovesta. Lisäksi siellä on paljon hyviä kalastuspaikkoja lähellä. Mökki on erittäin kodikas ja tuntuu kotona. Takana omaisuus löytyy palo kuoppaan sekä grilli. Mökissä on kaikki liinavaatteet, täydellinen keittiö, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, kaapeli-tv ja paljon muuta. Takapihan alue on erinomainen paikka istua, rentoutua, katsella tähtiä ja ehkä jopa katsella pohjoisia valoja! Mökki on vain muutaman minuutin päässä niin monia upeita nähtävyyksiä. Pysy loman aikana varmasti mennä Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, jossa voit ottaa veneen tai kajakki retkiä Pictured Rocks. Kun Munising on varma saada kartta kaikista paikallisista vesiputouksista ja jos olet todella kalastava vie kiivetä alas Log Slide Overlook. Vain muutaman minuutin Munisingin ulkopuolella, jouluna on Kawedin-kasino. Kun tunnin ajomatka matkustamossa on Marquette ja Manistique. Jos matkustat Manistique, sinun täytyy vierailla Kitch iti Kipi tunnetaan myös nimellä Big Springs Park.

Nice cabin near Munising!

The cabin is super cozy. We enjoyed the grill and some smores and bonfire in the back yard. It is a quiet area but not very secluded, walking distance to a small grocery store, short drive to munising and nearby attractions. Host was very responsive. Please bring bug spray if you hope to spend time outside.

Celebration

My son and I went up to celebrate our 30 and 60th birthdays. His girlfriend joined us and she was celebrating 30th Bday. We had a great stay and the cabin was warm and cozy. We loved it.

Fun family weekend stay

This place was the perfect little spot for my family for an extended weekend vacation. Loved that it felt like we had our own space, but had a grocery store right there and most things within a 10 or so minute drive.

Cute Little Place

Cute little place in Shingleton, just minutes from Munising. Just the right size for 3-4 people. Comfortable & very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils & dinnerwear. Washer & dryer was much appreciated after a muddy day on the trails.

Great location

The house (living room) is small. But it does the trick. You can get to the falls and the pictured rocks easily. They need to update the bedroom bedding and pillows. It was a nice place to stay. The fire pit was nice. Fully stocked with everything you need. The host was great and communication was awesome.

Great clean home.

My 3 boys (16, 13, and 5) and myself went up to the UP for a short vacation. We arrived a little later towards evening. The directions to the house were spot on and we had no issues finding it. Check in was easy. Upon arrival, we found the home to be very clean and stocked with anything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed a wonderful time visiting waterfalls and taking a day trip to copper harbor. The home is located in a nice quiet area with no loud neighbors. It was like heaven. I was a little worried about taking teenage boys to 'the middle of nowhere', but they had an enjoyable time!

Unfortunate experience

When we checked in, we laid down on the beds after a long day of exploring. Underneath one of the pillows there was a large pile of seeds. On top of the sheets in the upstairs bedroom, there was a few black things that appeared to be mice droppings. It was quite off putting. The property manager was responsive, but ultimately nothing could be done to change this. I could understand this being on the floor in the kitchen, but within the sleeping areas was very unfotunate.

Great Cabin!

We have a great time at this cabin! Property was clean and well kept. Basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish & hand soap were provided. Kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. So close to the general store in Shingleton, you could walk. Short ride to Munising which was a great town on Lake Superior. Right along ATV trails. Owner was always very prompt in responding to any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again!

Family getaway

Cabin was perfect for what we needed. Check-in was easy and cabin was clean. Nothing was needed so we didn’t have to contact the owner for a thing.

Quiet

This little house was very quiet and away from any hustle and bustle, which was nice. It’s a short drive into Munising and all of the great activities the area has to offer. The fire pit out back was fun for my two boys. As another reviewer stated, you may want to bring some drinking water with you as the tap water is very metallic (no fault of the owner at all). I would give this home 5 stars if there were some refreshed pillows for the beds and couch, some refreshed cookware and cooking utensils, and refreshed towels/washcloths. Many of the towels were frayed or just plain worn out. It would also be great to have a dish rack for drying dishes. Otherwise this place has everything you could need. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Convenient location and family friendly

Central location to every where we wanted to see. Within 15-30 minutes of most popular spots. The house was perfect size for a family of 4 with small children. All needed essentials available. A big yard and fireplace. Was a perfect place for our first visit to the U.P!

Great Location

Perfect for what we needed. There were 5 of us and we mostly just slept at the house. The kitchen was well stock with what we needed for cooking, morning coffee, etc. Everything worked as it should. Great location for exploring the UP!! So many waterfalls SO CLOSE!! Our main focus was Pictured Rocks and Munising is a short drive for touring! Other day trips are not far either.

Clean and Quiet

The property is well kept and check-in and out process was a cinch. It is about 15 minute from Munising/Picture Rock so it was pretty convenient to get around the area. The host is very responsive and helpful The property is well equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Cute Cottage

We stayed at this cute little cottage June 28 - July 3, 2023. Tammy was very responsive and very nice to communicate with. The house is very "homey" and comforting. We did not spend much time at the house, as we took our SxS's up to ride the trails. You can easily access the trails literally right around the corner from the house. This was a great little get a way over the holiday weekend! Everything was within 10-15 minutes away. Thanks again Tammy!
