”Our favourite out of the four hotels we stayed at, during our Japan trip! Very serene atmosphere, spacious, clean, beautiful room! The staff were friendly and helpful! Though they didn’t have dining or amenities, there were walkable restaurants and attractions nearby, so that didn’t bother us. They had great wifi and access to English programming on the tv. ”

”Amazing property with a super spacious room! The staff were so kind and accommodated our late check-in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved our bathroom that included a sauna and an oxidized bathtub. Super close to all the main sites and metros, we walked more than anything else. 10/10 would stay here again!”

”Right in the heart of Gion. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The room is very nice and beautiful looking, has English instructions for operating the ac, washing machine, etc. I really liked it overall. ”

”We had a wonderful stay in Kyoto. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day. Our room was one of the most basic options, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A big highlight was the laundry room, well equipped with multiple washing and drying machines. Washing cost 600 yen, and drying was priced by time, which was very convenient during our trip. Service was excellent and the staff was accommodating.”

”Hotellin henkilökunta oli aivan erinomaisen huomaavaista ja ystävällistä! Huone oli siisti ja erittäin viihtyisä, ja lakanoiden vaihdon sai halutessaan jättää pois ympäristöystävällisistä syistä. Hotelli oli rauhallinen ja erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla vanhan Kioton alueella, alueen merkittävät temppelit olivat kävelymatkan päässä. Hotellin aamupala oli maukas ja mielestäni sopivan kokoinen. Yöpyisin tässä hotellissa ehdottomasti uudelleen!”

”This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. ”

”Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.”

"The location was really good with walking distance to Kioto city centre. But the hotel building was under major renovation i.e. windows covered witout possibility see outside. That was notinformed during reseravtion. "
"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."

Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
