Ryokanit – Shonan

”Great place to stay. Own private bath in the balcony was nice too.”

”Todo”

”Beautiful and funky property. The shared spaces were very nicely appointed with a room full of records and artsy books. Loved the indoor and outdoor onsens here as well. The tatami mats and floor seats were a unique experience as well. The only small negative is that it is a little off the beaten path but even with that point & that it was raining, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.”

”The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend...

”The building was quite old, but not really renovated. For us, a family from Europe, the japanese room felt quite small once the beds were spread out (by the personal, eg from 6pm until 10am). The hotel lobby and the toilet of our room smelled a bit unpleasant to us, of a very very old building. Communication in english was relatively poor, information on were to find the different spa areas was complex to find out. We got the feeling that international guests aren’t the main clientel...

”I really enjoyed my stay in this historical hotel! I got a really nice room in the forest wing so I could see the woods. It was peaceful and bed was really comfy. Loved the spa too. Will come back!”

”This is a beautiful Japanese inn. We loved having the whole experience including the use of the private onsen, the beautiful tatami mats, the delicious multi course meal, and wonderful staff. It's very close to gora station so it's very convenient. It's a wonderful value for a indescribable experience.”

”Good 1 night stay ,best english speaking staff (manager)in my whole trip helpful and give detailed check in info ,also station pick up with very short notice .Thanks”

”Very kind staff and service”
