”Very friendly staff, and comfortable bed. TV didn't connect with remote so we had to get up to turn up the volume and turn on the tv, which was a little annoying. Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. ”

”While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. I shared the room with others so I would have liked a closed stall without the water spillage. ”Stayed here one night while passing through. Room was smaller than I expected (patio king). I also assumed the patio was attached to the room but it was not. Room floor was dirty (sand, etc.) otherwise room was clean. Our coffee pot didn’t work. There was a $50 dog fee upon check in that wasn’t listed at time of booking online so that was a surprise. ”Beautiful property. Rented a 1bed at the Lodge. Very clean. Mini kitchen. Quiet property overall with the exception of my next door neighbors who were loud. Would highly recommended! ”

”We loved this place! Felicia was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We felt very welcome when we walked in. The history of the inn was so incredible. The bar area was wonderful and so was the bartender. We stayed in one of the King suites. It was so clean and peaceful. We will definitely be back.”

”I felt like this place was a bargain, especially with breakfast included! We stayed in April just before their weddings started, and it was very quiet. We had a nice view of the water from our room, and the grounds are stunning! It was clean and perfect for an overnight.
