”a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.”

”Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out.”

On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house. The room itself is adequate for someone who doesn't care about the interior but wants only to crash for a couple of...
