”a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.”

Room and bedding clean although shower grouting a bit mouldy. Had the feel of a care home. Bed was comfy. Coffee/tea/kettle and packaged milk provided but had to fill the kettle via a glass as sink too small. Shower lost power for a while on second day but was generally ok. generic soap and shower gel provided, no other products...

”Our biggest disappointment resulted from what we consider to be false advertising. On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house. ”Good sized room with opening windows. I didn’t anticipate a shared bathroom when I booked. Rubbish bin full, no soap in hand basin dispenser and shower needing a good clean before I could use it. Bedroom clean sheets but stains on the walls. Not very inviting. Great to have parking but grounds need attention. The property was in the next suburb Rosyth not Dunfermline as advertised in Expedia. The Dunfermline property was permanently closed. 3 night stay with no fresh towels or coffee etc. top...
