”I had to stay in Shropshire overnight and managed to get a room here. What a lovely surprise this was. The property is situated in beautiful surroundings and quiet countryside. The host Rebecca is simply wonderful. I received a warm welcome and a speedy check in. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I left feeling fresh and well rested. ”

”Good location, short walk into the centre. It has parking at the rear, although it could be a little tight if full. Only one word to describe the staff: AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, a little on the small side, but it wasn’t an issue; the shower had good water pressure. ”We had been to visit David Austin Roses and White Cottage was in a reasonable distance from there - we did not want to travel back to Nottingham on the same day. We were made most welcome by Rob. The room was well presented and thoughtfully laid out. The bathroom was sparkling! We were provided with tea/coffee facilities, milk and wine. We were also give two pieces of the most delicious cake! Breakfast was wonderful and again, beautifully presented, with lots of choice. Nothing was too much...
