”We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. ”The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating as we booked this cabin over an alternative due to the kitchen. The crockery/cutlery/cookware were dirty. ”Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

”The property is old beams, four poster beds, sloping floors, beautiful property nice restaurant local to shops pubs and staff young and very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble, our room had a king size 4 poster bed high but very comfortable good shower too, definitely be going back again food was very good also and when you stay you get 10% off food and drink”

”Had a great stay here, it had everything from great food , friendly staff and a well equipped gym and pool. To top it off for us, it’s dog friendly too! All the staff were super helpful and attentive to our needs, from reception to bar and gym staff. Everyone made us feel so welcome, even the gym members.
