”All the staff members speak very well English and are very outgoing. Rooms are very clean and safe to keep your belongings in. Hostel is close to a subway station and it has small stores right next to it. The bar has some very delicious food and drinks and the overall atmosphere is very warm.”

”Imano is a cozy, well run hostel that is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. The women only floor is secured with a lovely common area and a fridge. Imano was the first hostel i ever visited 3 years ago and i will gladly visit again. With the money you save staying here you can head to the super sento (3 mins walk) and relax after the day walking Tokyo. Closest station exit is Shinjuku sanchome E1 which also has an elevator (close to golden gai). ”

”Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. Free shuttles up to Gora in the morning are also a bonus (although you'll have to get yourself to Asante in the afternoon/evening as they don't offer shuttles then). Overall a...
