Majatalot – Shutoken

”The guesthouse is lovely and if you are lucky you may see the mount Fuji from all the clouds. The walk to the lake is nice, through some small streets and plantations. It is quite remote in the sense that often you have to take a train, bus and a taxi to get to the guesthouse. So plan for the long travel. There was no pick-up service offered and when leaving we got a ride because another family had a baby with them, but then it had to be on their schedule. ”

”Very friendly staff with warm atmosphere - even when you do not have any ideas to enjoy your stay at that area, you will get better suggestions from them. One thing to keep in your mind - wish to have better weather during your stay!”

”宿も綺麗で、座禅体験も子供達が喜んでいたので連れて行って本当によかったです！食事もどれもとても美味しく、大満足の家族旅行となりました！お庭も素敵でとっても良い天気だったので映える写真がたくさん撮れました！笑　露天風呂も素敵でした！温泉ではないけど、お水がすごく綺麗で澄んでいるのでお肌も髪もツルツルになりました！また機会があれば行きたいです！その時は宜しくお願いします！”

”It was too hot because the AC was supposed to be turned on by guests. We put up with being sweaty for 6 hours until the weak AC finally worked enough. And then, the AC suddenly stopped. We tried to reset it but it never worked again. The AC, that also sprashed water, probably has a problem. We hope you would maintain the AC and wouldn't save cooling cost in shared area.”

”I loved the location. It’s far from the city but not too far. It was a great location if you came from Narita airport because theirs a direct train that’s quick. 3-5 minute walk to the station. I did fight the washer/dryer. I was there for quite a while for it to take my coins. Staff did respond quickly so I did feel better. By the time someone came by the machine finally took my money. I enjoyed my stay and convenience store was around the corner!”
