”The location is excellent. The room was just too small. I personally do not like a pocket door as my bathroom door (especially when it won't stay closed). Breakfast was sophisticated but cold/room temperature and would have liked an option for a warm breakfast (like the quiche or the croissant). Staff very friendly and helpful. ”My second time in Martin House Inn. It is situated in the hearth of town and is close to the ferry, buses, shops and restaurants. Still the location is quiet and not crowded. Had a room with a shared bathroom which worked out fine. Common areas were charming. Enjoyed breakfast, afternoon treats, Friday cheese and wine and evening sherry or bourbon nitecap. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. Will return for shure!”

”Excellent stay with a ton of amenities and great staff! This was a romantic spot with a private bay and beach access, a convenient shuttle to town that runs every hour to access shops and restaurants, and an option to take the hotel BMW for a few hours to explore the island on our own, not to mention complimentary bikes and afternoon boat rides. Staff supported every request (big and small) and the food was amazing, with views even more so! Overall, so glad we stayed out of the main town area...
