”Should be $100 per night. We were lead to the wrong room and given keys to someone else's suite! I've never had to chase the manager down 3 flights of stairs to tell them they gave us the wrong keys, until now. Thankfully for everyone there was nobody in the suite at the time, however their bags were open and out so they just as well could've been in the middle of changing! The room had a weird smell, the lighting was very dim, the fridge was in the bathroom, there was no fan in the toilet room,...

”Just wrapped up a wonderful 2 night stay at Fairholme Manor! Property is immaculately maintained, in a quiet area but still a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Victoria. We stayed in suite number 7 (the penthouse), which was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Staff were friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend!”

”The apartment was very nice and spotlessly clean. It was much bigger than it appeared in the pictures, with a very nice large living room with a sectional sofa and a nice dining table suitable for 4. The bathroom is across the large living room from the bedroom, which allowed me to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking my wife! Don’t laugh that’s a very positive thing. ”We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at the Quarrystone Bed and Breakfast on Salt Spring Island. The breakfasts were amazing and would cost a lot at a restaurant !! They encouraged you to take muffins and pastries away to have later in the day. This allowed us skip lunch. The staff were wonderful ! ”Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. ”
