”This is a LOVELY property on the Kern River. The lodge is meticulously maintained, and the on-site managers are attentive and friendly. We could hear the rushing river from our room. It is close enough to Kernville for dining options. We will always stay here whenever we visit the Kern River area. Reasonable! Clean! Remodeled! Perfect! ”

”I loved the old fashioned antiques. I loved the fireplace! It was an old property but I liked how they made it so cozy & warm. We were very comfy but the bed was super old & my back ached. Decorations & quiet & nice location made up for it! I’d stay here again but there was no breakfast & it’s more expensive than usual motels.”

Gorgeous 😍. 20 minutes up the road is Alta sierra, a ski slope. 2 hours from there is the trail of 100 giants. Great location. Wood interior of the house is beautiful. Cookware is limited, but still able to make a fabulous dinner. Recommend allergy medicine as the dirt generates dust and pollen from the trees.
