”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee! We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and...

”We arrived late to check in. Cabin was ready for us. It's a cute cabin and looked clean. When we woke up the next morning we noticed how many mouse dropping that we around the cabin. Everywhere. It was hard to enjoy the space after that. We packed up and left on Thanksgiving morning. We were due to checkout the next morning. ”

”The staff people were great. The food at the restaurant was great, the drinks even better. It's like staying at the pub in the Cotswalds country side, which was cool. Unfortunately, the rooms left a lot to be desired, especially at the price charged. The very, very squeaky bed, the windows with a ton of street noise, the shower/tub from the 1800s, which I thought was a period piece harking back to the pub idea, and essentially no friills everything. I've paid 1/5th the price at a basic Marriott...

”Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. ”
