”The owners are very nice and try to please but has gone down a lot since I was there 3 years ago. Rooms have basically what you need and is centrally located but the wooden tables outside are splintered and not really where you’d want to sit. There is a small microwave in the room and a refrigerator which comes in handy. A small round table and 2 chairs. A desk chair that was shedding its vinyl. Rooms are clean but could use a painting. No breakfast, no coffee in reception”

”Run Away! The property is old, run down, nasty and dirty. Our room 216 had a crack in the ceiling falling in and the front desk man said it was fixed inside and was nothing to worry about outside and there were no other rooms. There was an old broken chair with cobwebs outside our door and black hairs in the bathtub. Also 2 spiders- one on the curtain and one in the bathroom. 2 limp towels in the bathroom. An old Mr Coffee pot with no coffee by the front desk. Beyond sad. This “motel”...

”There were bugs in the bathroom. I killed and flushed them most of the night. I wasn't able to sleep because of this. The ceiling and wall in the bathroom had been spackled and not finished. The furniture set up was not conducive to more than one occupant. The toilet flushed fine and the air conditioning worked well. My husband and I checked out early and cancelled our additional night's stay due to the insects. I would not recommend the Scottish Inn Ronks, PA. ”

”This hotel is in need of a lot for the price we paid on Expedia. We have now learned Expedia charges a higher price for a room than if you had walked in the front door and reserved it. We had a “kitchenette”, which included a refrigerator, microwave, small cooktop. No coffee pot, no coffee cups, no cups, no plates, no utensils, no cooking utensils.
