”I didn't understand when housekeeping would empty the trash they wouldn't put a new liner in. They left one on the rim of the can and I guess the guest is supposed to take care of it. Also I had a coffee packet in the room when I checked in but it was never replaced after I used it.”

In addition to cleanliness issues with our room (one bed unchanged, dirty nightstand with sticky residue all over it, and bathroom had odor and dirty floor with hair and other residue) it is under active construction. The kicker was being awoken at 7am by the sound of hammers on my headboard and power tools underneath my room that were so loud my kids in the room next door could also hear them. ”Staff was great. Kind and generous. We just had an issue with the cleanliness of our room. The carpet was not vacuumed. Window had hand prints everywhere. Bathroom needed a wipe down. We had to ask for toilet paper. Which is fine but I do think if they clean it and see that there is not enough on the roll for several days, it needs a new roll. The pool was out of commission and absolutely nothing mentioned anywhere online. We wanted a pool to swim. We ended up going to a river and still had...

”Shower was horrible I felt like I got out with shampoo in my hair hardly any pressure. My car was hit in the parking lot no one left a note or notified the staff and apparently someone was going to email me the camera footage but nothing was ever sent. Air conditioner kept me awake sounding like a cyclone was going through my room. I don't think I'll be visiting again.”

However neither of us knew the room was fouled with smoke that left my wife and I with headaches and a smell in our clothes that followed us around all day.The night clerk knew it was a smoking room.
