”The property description was a stretch. The photos made the property seem nicer than it was. It should not be listed as a hotel and spa. A motel would be a better description. The steam room smelled like rotten milk. The whirlpool spa was a tepid 80 degrees at best. The toilet in the ladies locker room didn’t have a door, only a paper partition. The only saving grace for the property were the staff, they were polite and helpful. 2 out 5 stars overall. ”

”We stayed here only one night during our road trip. The hotel is near the Hearst Castle visitor center and some miles away from the elephant seal vista point (which I totally recommend). Hotel has a small pool, a restaurant and a bar and there are small shops nearby. Everything you can hope for a quick or even longer stop. Rooms were clean and nice. ”

”It is an OK position to stay there. The room was clean, but one of the blenders was damaged. The manager was very nice and responsive. He changed us to another room, whose condition is better. However, the microwave and refrigerator didn't work. We just lived with this. ”
