House itself needs some TLC but again, everything was very clean and the area was quiet. Excellent location with beaches and grocery stores all within walking distance. Only mild annoyance is that some housekeeping and landscaping staff showed up unexpectedly; property managers should provide a more accurate maintenance schedule to the guests.”

”If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. There are literally roosters-hens-chicks on the side of the road; a local large grocery store, multiple small restaurants/bars with live music, and my favorite local jeweler...

Bathroom has been upgraded/refitted to a lovely walk in shower (site shows old photo of bath). ”This property is in a great very safe location, close to a supermarket and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. From where it’s situated you can easily get to anywhere using public transport, the bus stop is down the bottom of the road which is a fun way to see the island. The accommodation was perfect for us as a family, a little dated but was very clean. It’s in a little gated community of 10 villas with well kept gardens and a lovely little pool.
