”Just what we needed for a couple night stay! Everything was clean, the property is cute, it was perfect!”

”Brand new so of course it’s clean and tidy. Staff was not helpful- a woman was trapped in the elevator for over an hour before they would call 911- they wanted to wait for the tech. Hot breakfast was nice but they weren’t prepared for the volume of people at all! Convenient location - can walk to downtown Novato!”

”Checking in was not with real staff but rather by a visual computer screen and by a person who spoke with an accent that is difficult to understand. There was a staff at the front desk but did nothing to help unless you asked for. We didn’t feel welcomed by this procedure. The same process was with checking out. Hotel is close to freeway and a busy street so it is noisy. However, the room was clean and spacious. There is no elevator.”

”There was a weird burning plastic smell in the room but it was better after opening the patio door. The fan on the AC wouldn’t keep running so it would get too warm in between the compressor kicking on.”

”Very quaint place. relatively quiet and very clean. The rooms are small and simple but clean. The hotel is an old building, so it has a certain charm and distinctiveness. Good breakfast on site. The hotel is a few blocks away from downtown Petaluma and all the restaurants. excellent location. great prize value. I would/will come back to this hotel if necessary rather than the big-name ones.”

”Expedia users often get less desirable rooms. This room was right above the entry to the hotel and not interesting/bad view. Hotel clearly was not very busy – seems like they lose an opportunity to upgrade someone when there is clearly a lot of availability. More frustrating is that the hotel pool was closed. I now see in the small print that it was in fact posted in Expedia, but who reads the small print when you stay at the hotel multiple times? There was no “I’m sorry“ at check-in or...
