Basic but good

Beds are quite uncomfortable, bathroom doesn’t feel very clean, bed rooms are quite small. Excellent that it has a light and plugs next to each bed (although one of my plugs didn’t work), free large lockers are provided to store all belongings, free breakfast is good, WiFi is good too.

Nothing to complain

Easy to find, central location with affordable rates and restaurants around . Simple breakfast and Netflix. Night duty guy was banging kitchen utensils and doors while cleaning preparing breakfast area, I am not complaining just reporting hehe

The property was really clean and well maintained. Its a pity that the washing machine and dryer only operates at certain timings though - during the day, which is when most people are out exploring. Shouldnt it be available when people are back from their exploring? Just a suggestion. Thanks!

The room has a bit of smell to it. It feels dirty and noisy. Its a mixed dorm and i was sleeping on the bottom bunk. God knows what was gg on on the top bunk cause I couldnt get any sleep on my first night due to the bed shaking all night. Supposed to stay for 3 nights but checked out on the second night cause it was uncomfortable. I dont feel my stuffs are secured also even though lockers were assigned.

Good place in Singapore, and I like Singapore.

Enjoyed finding this place. It takes a little getting used to with the different areas and lock system. And, as has already been noted, it’s clean enough, but the floors - like around the toilet/shower areas, don’t seem clean enough for walking around barefoot. There’s a roomy toilet room right beside the kitchen and refrigerator which is convenient - that’s if you don’t mind a toilet being next to where you’re eating I stayed in a 10-bed dorm. It’s fine if you don’t have much baggage. Staff were always there and helpful, although they are not to be considered guides for the city. The location of the hostel is the best part. Beach Road is a very nice street and just minutes from the whole Bugis - Arabic - Little India areas - my favorite places in all Singapore. I think Beach Road is also convenient for catching buses for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - five hour trip or so. For me, location is everything and this a fairly comfortable hostel in a great location so I give it a good rating. And of course, not expensive.

Comfy bed with good air con. Decent wifi. Nice lounge area with free use of Netflix and computers. Free washers and dryers for laundry. Staff are pleasant and housekeeping is performed regularly. Excellent value for money.

One of their shower on 3rd floor is next to a toilet, so if someone is having shower, the water on the floor will flow to the toilet floor next door, not very pleasant.

Boa localização apenas

Não gostei por alguns detalhes, primeiro o hostel é cheio de regras como ter que tirar os calçados ao sair do elevador ou escadas, não podendo andar pelos corredores até o seu quarto com qualquer tipo de calçado, inclusive chegar ao banheiro. Fiquei no quarto andar e não havia banheiro masculino neste andar, então minha opção era subir ao quinto ou descer ao terceiro, então toda vez que precisasse ir ao banheiro era uma maratona de coloca e tira chinelo. Alem disso, as portas que dão acesso ao corredor são automáticas, mas justo a do meu andar estava com problema, ou seja, toda vez que alguém passava e não a fechava corretamente alguns segundos após emitia um sinal sonoro insuportável, que não permitia dormir, e durante nos dias que fiquei não solucionaram o problema, mesmo eu tendo feito inúmeras reclamações. De positivo, tem a localização do hotel que é perto de bons locais para alimentação e diversão, além de não ser distante da estação Bugis do MRT.

Propaganda enganosa.

Funcionários não prestativos; Hostel sujo, cheio de teias de aranha; reservei um quarto com janela como havia visto nas imagens e quando cheguei fui informado que não existw quarto com janela; banheiro sujo; Quarto possuia uma tv mas não tinha adaptador da tomada para o hóspede assistir, na recepção me mandaram comprar um adaptador de tomada para assistir a tv que o hostel disponibiliza. Enfim... nota 0.

Is a cosy room for solo or duo traveller. Adviceable to bring own toilet slippers as the male toilet is located at 3rd& 5th floor while female toilet at 2nd & 4th floor. No shoes upon entering the rooms corridor. A 20SGD deposit was requested during check-in. Make sure you manage time well and check out punctually by 12pm or the deposit being forfeited. The common area is clean and comfortable simple breakfast being provided. You can refill water anytime.

Uncomfortable bed and unclean

I stayed in a room of 6 on the female floor. It was a mistake to stay here. 1. The other guests of the hostel do not observe quiet hours. The lights in our room were not switched off at a reasonable hour (I awoke at 11:30pm to the lights in). The blow drier is not to be used from 12am-6am but it was often used after midnight. 2. The bathrooms were not cleaned often. There was always hair in the drains and the toilet paper was not restocked. There was even a bloody tissue on the bathroom floor for some time. 3. The beds were hard and the metal frames are very creaky. 4. The microwave was disgusting. I feel bad for the cleaning staff because it seems the guests are very dirty. I only enjoyed one thing - there was Nutella for toast in the morning. I would never consider staying here again.

Cool, Hip Hostel in Trendy area..

I’m usually very hesitant about staying in hostels being a solo-female traveler but felt very safe here. It is in the most perfect area surrounded by cute little shops, cafes etc. 5-7 min walk to the train stop “Bugis”. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was better than most hostels (they have cereal w milk and toast) I definitely recommend this place to other budget travelers who want to be in a cool, hip, central area.
