”Book early during summer...we booked the last room available at the Belvedere. Great owner/place, service, cocktails and best dinner we had. Not so fortunate on the last room of choice as it was on third floor a super squeaky bed which led to an uncomfortable night sleep.

”This is a charming little place and we really enjoy staying here whenever we are in this part of Michigan. The receptionist seems like he’d rather be anywhere else but working and is not very friendly. The gift shop is also a mess and full of clutter. Otherwise, we really like it. They provide ice from a cooler and wine openers if you are in need. Parking slots are oddly designed, but convenient. Restaurants and like Phil’s and The Southerner are delicious. For fun, rent a bike and ride around...
”The staff were helpful, courteous and a pleasure to work with and we felt welcomed and cared for from the minute we arrived until we left. The property was VERY clean and well maintained.
The breakfast was outstanding. The food was tasty, fresh with many options. The pool area had adequate seating and provided a nice place to read, swim or just enjoy resting there. Above all else, it was the staff that made a difference! They made this experience worth sharing with others!”

My only suggestion would be to make the hallways lighter as it’s hard to see and the gate on the outside of the Whirlpool and seating area has some rot. That would be nice if it was replaced or fixed otherwise it’s a really nice place”
”Hotel room was spacious, beds comfortable, nice desk to work on. Free breakfast had lots of options, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, toast, eggs, breakfast meat, oatmeal bar, cereal, waffles and more. Best gym I have ever seen in a hotel. Nice areas to sit outside. Wonderful staff, Assist Mgr Amanda was very welcoming and helpful.”
