Hotel was beautiful, however it wasn’t until I called in the middle of the night from my whole guest room smelling like sewage that they told me the smell was from a nearby slaughterhouse/pork processing plant. The smell was almost unbearable. Loved the hotel otherwise, but they have got to find a way to prevent that smell in the guest rooms Decatur was extremely unpleasant.
Also there was a bar to hang clothes, but zero other hooks in the room to hang purse, backpack, etc. would have liked to see some wall hooks.
Further, there is no dresser in the guest rooms, only a few ope cubbies and a bar to hang clothes on. A dresser, armoire, or something with drawers would have been nice so that I could put away all my clothes during my stay.
I liked that the flops were LVT in lieu of tile. The bathroom in the room was also nice.
My favorite part about my stay was Cascata, the Italian restaurant on the first floor. Food is delightful and I would return just to eat there!
Customer service at this hotel was also very good.
