”My room had a wonderful sea view and balcony, which made it delightful. Of course the hotel is conveniently located straight across from the beach so it's easy to take a daily stroll on the sand. I booked a massage while I was at the hotel and that was very relaxing. I strongly recommend it! The breakfast is very mediocre, sadly. It would be asy to elevate this by including fresh-baked bread and some other locally made specialties, which must surely be available. My poached eggs on toast were...

”Cracking room over looking the beach , clean n tidy and the maids did an excellent job with room service , the waiters , consierge , receptionists all very nice and very helpful , nothing was too much trouble , breakfast choices were very good my only gripe that the warming try’s were just that , warm I prefere food hot but all very tasty none the less , great place to stay ”

”Absolutely brilliant stay at SACO apartments and it won’t be the last. The apartment was perfect for what we needed as a base to visit my sister and her family for a family party. Everything was provided and the location was absolutely spot on! Just walking distance to the harbour and the shops and public transport to the rest of the island. ”Wonderful stay. We had a balcony apartment facing the marina, it was very quiet, would never have known it was above a bus station - which was very handy for getting around the island. Since it had a fully equipped kitchen, we spent a lot less on food. Apartment was huge, a real home from home and flooded with light. Highly recommended”

”This is our 2nd time staying at De L'Etang. We like the comfortable & clean room, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast options & delicious Greek food in the attached Taverna! Close to St Helier & bus routes. Wonderful outlook over the beach. When we next have a holiday in Jersey, we will happily book De L'Etang again.”

”A really hot room with broken air-condition and a locked (not usable) safe was given to us and also our friends got a room with broken a-c. Later on we heard a similar story by another hotel guest. We got a better room after complaining. I am sure that hotel management is aware of the fact that air-conditioning in several rooms is not working and still they put guests in such rooms. This is not acceptable. Breakfast was good as was location.”

”Room had some issues with air con vent misding a screw and hanging down which was fixed. Vent is bathroom did not work properly even after telling desk 3 times so bathroom steamed up every day after a shower. Food in restaurant was ok, never managed to use spa. Location was good, parking was ok but may be difficult in summer. Overall is a goid hotel with friendly staff”
