”We absolutely loved out stay at Senda Monteverde. The grounds are gorgeous and have access to a beautiful hiking trail just out the back. They have a new pool and hot tubs that made our experience even more relaxing. Their restaurant is delicious. We ended up eating there for multiple meals and were happy with our choices every time. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. They are very thoughtful and helped us with any bookings we needed. We needed a ride to the airport at 2am and...

With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for. ”

”I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”This property was good for the price. It’s clean and comfortable. The property is dated but the owners really make this property a very nice stay. They are very accommodating and also helped with booking our tram reservation and provided recommendations for local eateries. We would stay again. Keep I mind if you have difficulty with stairs ask for the bottom floor rooms. Pura vida”
