”An overnight in Oban - very suitable accomodation”

”Even though the weather was very Scottish, we had a great time in Oban and loved our stay at the Penthouse. Fiona went above and beyond with all the little welcome extras and conveniences. Would highly recommend.”

”Overall a great spot and nice little apartment. My only suggestion is that the couch and bed need upgrading as they are important. Also the parking directions should simply state “park on the street or across the street”. We parked in the back, not seeing the parking sign that was leaned against the building behind a van hence in the morning we were met by a terse older Scot who was none too happy that we parked there unknowingly. There was also a green plastic glass that apparently was cracked...

”Eine sehr geräumige Unterkunft, sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Ein großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden (wichtig, wenn man mit dem Auto in Oban ist, da die Straßen oft sehr eng und Parkplätze Mangelware sind). Und über einen Fußweg ist man in ein paar Minuten im Stadtzentrum mit seinen Restaurants. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft ruhig gelegen, mit viel Grün herum. Der Gastgeber ist ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt gerne gute Tipps, was man in der Nähe unternehmen kann....

”The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend. ”

”This is a lovely spot on the hill above the center of town. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the water. It has a secluded small garden patio, lovely for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We fell in love with Oban and would have stayed longer if we could. If we ever get back we would definately stay here again.”

The benefit of one of the apartments on the upper floors were the views - only really a drawback on arrival and departure (no lift), but not an issue really providing mobile/agile. ”Floors squeaked with every step. WiFi was only pay for city service. Kitchen floor had buckle d vinyl. Dishwasher would not open fully due to baseboard. No instructions for parking or equipment in flat, such as washer, Tzv, available overnight”
