”Lovely, quirky little hotel set close to main town centre. Parking is at the local carpark so have to pay during working hours but it's just up the road so easy to access. George was very helpful about restaurants, pubs, etc. Room was at the top front and very comfortable albeit quite small and we were at the top so stairs could be an issue for some guests. Lovely view over Oban bay so well worth the climb. Al in all great ttle hotel for a short visit. ”

”Such a disappointment, the room was small and old fashioned. Very little space for two people, and damp in the atmosphere. Towels never dried and had to shower and air dry as gettibg dried with a cold damp towel was no fun. Check in security was pior, anyon can just walk in and pick up keys to a room , no staff around and when you rang the numbers for contact there was no answer from all three!”

”I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.”

”Sarah is the heart of Roseneath Guest House, warm, friendly, helpful, funny and blessed with wonderful stories. For a non-driver with a heavy luggage the climb up the hill can be a challenge, but since you reach The Roseneath, Bill helps carrying your luggage up to your room. I also like a log in the "Blue Teddybear"-room and enjoyed a delicious and hearty cooked breakfast (awesome black pudding!) seasoned with Sarah's wonderful stories. There is no wi-fi, so if you need it, there'll be...

”We never used this b and b as there were no signs were it was tryed phoning no answer .could nt get any were to stay in oban.we had to travel to fort william another 1 hrs drive away ”
