”We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

”Large spacious and cosy house. Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.”

”Das Haus ist zauberhaft und durchdacht. Das EG großzügig und Licht durchflutet mit riesiger Küche. Oben 2 Zimmer mit Dachschrägen. Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit. Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten...

”Nice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.”

”This is the 4th time we have stayed at Tigh-na-Camus. It is in a beautiful location and an excellent place to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and has the best sunroom on the front overlooking the water. Will definitely book again.”

”We have stayed in An Gearasdan on a number of occasions and have been visiting Glenelg for over 24 years. The property is lovely, very well set out and perfect for groups and a couple of dogs. The view down the sound is spectacular and the locals are lovely. We cannot fault the house or location and hope to return for many more years.”

”Location is excellent and the house fit the 6 of us comfortably. Pictures make it look much larger than reality but space sufficient. Two improvements would be helpful - we had 6 people and number of glasses and basic dishes were exact at six or a little less in some categories, which was inconvenient. The house was heated, but actually too well heated. We could not reprogram the thermostats in each room and were uncomfortably hot. So basic printed out instructions on systems would’ve been...

”We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. Choose a hotel on Skye, or just the one by the sea
"The place was worn-out. The clerc at the reception on Saturday June 1st was unpleasant - no, he was rude, and should not be in a profession like this. Probably good in doing something else, but definitely not in what he was doing now. Because of him we didn't eat in the restaurant... ALL the rest of the personal was very good and nice, but this male destroyed even that 👎👎👎"
