”Property was laid out nicely and in a great location. Checking in was very quick and the people at the front desk were very courteous and helpful. Room was cleaned up daily and I had a great stay.”

”This motel 6 is exactly what you pay for. It’s definitely for saving a buck—thin bed sheets and messy landowner special in the rooms being paint and stain jobs, etc. that being said, it had good space and decent location for a 1/4th of the price of hotels in downtown Chicago. We came for a wedding. The property is gated in which gives a safer feel especially in leaving your cars and they don’t enter the rooms during your stay unless requested so you’ll have privacy.”

”Hotel was decently clean, even if I had to ask for a new cleaning of my room right after check in. The hotel understood the problem right away and apologised. Punlic spaces were all clean and nice. The room air conditioning and heating was hit and miss, most of the time it was either a bit too chilly or toasty, but could be adjusted when it swung. The gym is a bit barebones with mostly running and crosstraining machines with some free weights, but just enough for a few days. Laundry room worked...

”I was not allowed to check in because I wouldn’t send a deposit via Zelle to the property managers, although Expedias rules strictly express not sending payments outside of the platform. Now I’m being told I can’t get a refund, although the property owner violated the policy.”

”We loved our "upgraded" room with the beautiful view of the river, Lake Michigan and the Saturday night fireworks! This was thanks to Michael, our concierge or check-in man at the front desk. It took us a little while to figure out all the lighting but that was a small thing. The coffee at your restaurant left a little to be desired - it was not hearty enough or warm enough. The cappuccino we replaced it with was very good! All in all, a very happy experience.”

”I wish the space was bigger. It was too tight for me and my young girls but the staff was so extra nice and welcoming.”

”They have a big focus on cleanliness which is great, but the absolute lack of amenities were ridiculous. No free water bottles. No free parking. The room was tiny for a Signature Room. I understand they get away with this stuff because they are located in downtown but still not sufficient for a basic hotel. I got a discounted price because of Expedia so I got saved a little bit, but I would never pay full price for this room.”

”I enjoyed my stay here. Clean room, well maintained property and great location just 3 miles from Chicago. The best part was the friendly staff. The breakfast was a 4.5 out 5, just adequate foe the day's need, nothing super special. I would definitely return.”
