”The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. ”Minimal staff, only the receptionist. No one tidied up my room or replaced towels or coffee supplies. My shower had what I think was pseudonymous growing in the corners and the floors were pretty dirty. The hallways smelled like wild oinions.”

”Refrigerator didn’t work and informed front desk who said maintenance was on site she will have someone look at it. More than 24 hrs later called the front desk for an update but they were unable to supply any information. We were offered another room so we had to pack up and unpack again. Was told by staff member Bryson that we would receive a monetary compensation but we did not get anything for our inconvenience.”

”Old and tired facilities. Dirty carpets in hallways. Bathroom door would not close because the entire frame was warped. Air conditioning in lobby was broken and swimming pool was closed because of repairs. Inadequate staffing for the breakfast, one person taking care of two facilities. There were two units at this location, one was for guests with pets, the other was for non pet . We were placed in the pet facility without given a choice. Horrible experience.”

”This property is not safe for anyone! Very disgusting! The floors were black and you stuck to them ! None of the outlets worked in the place. No tv. Drug attacks everywhere. The pool was half full of green matter and frogs, possibly a dead body or two ! And the stink is unbearable!”

”The entire property was a disaster. -Frayed carpet all in our room -Urine smell in room -Damp bed sheets -Blue duct tape pieces holding a part of the inner elevator -Have to hold toilet handle down in order to flush -Carpet on the stairwell looks like it had not been vacuumed in months -Lamps did not work”

”The room and lobby were clean and fresh and the staff were very nice. The only issue is that housekeeping began knocking loudly on doors and saying housekeeping as early as 8:45am and opened the door, looked around, saw me sleeping, then said I’ll come back. It startled me and disturbed my sleep. Not sure why they are opening doors of occupied rooms.”

”The Hampton Inn McMinnville was an excellent host for my stay there along with 20 or so others. The breakfast bar (included) was fantastic with a great selection and quantity to choose from. We reserved a meeting room close to the breakfast area to set up our own area to relax as a group with a buffet and bar for drinks. The staff and especially the night manager were extremely accommodating and responsive to our group needs. The only issue I encountered in my room (201) was the bathroom sink...

”Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and...
