”I stayed here 4 times now and absolutely love these cottages! Great location just outside of Grundarfjordur...very quiet and peaceful with great views looking out to ocean, mountains/Kirkjufell, and beautiful sunsets! Cottage as everything you need even small stove plate on the kitchenette you feel like cooking. Hosts also great and reply in timely manner to emails.”

Hosts were so nice with great communication…helped a lost cat that showed up find its owner…we LOVE cats..so this was so nice that they also love cats and helped reunite the lost cat with its family. ”We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”
