After checking us into our room we were told that there was an “engineering problem” that would prevent us from getting the room we booked and paid for - king size bed with view - and there was a problem with HVAC, so there was no air conditioning and our room would be hot. They waived the resort fee to accommodate - which seemed minimal given that we ended up in a room with 2 double beds and a view of the hotel driveway (vs. ski slopes) Housekeeping only placed new towels in our room - did not make the bed, replace the water bottles in the fridge or remove the trash. The head valet was incredibly rude to guests - we were waiting for the hotel shuttle to go to the music festival, one guest said his wife would be right down and the valet told him “no, we leave on time”. - it was early afternoon and there were only 4 of us on the shuttle they could have waited. The hotel is a nice location, but they clearly need to step up their service.
