”My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this very clean home walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in back yard was perfect for them. The rear deck with outdoor lighting and the guest cottage are very nice and the home could easily accommodate larger groups and families. The host was attentive and easy to contact. We highly recommend this house.”

”We are building the house at the Albemarle Plantation and it was good to find a shelter right in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful neighborhood with a wonderful golf course and marina. The club house restaurant, the dockside cafe and the pool just a few minutes from this property. The marina for the boaters is nearby. NIce small condo with all necessary amenities. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you to the owners.”

”Really great place to stay to take the day to explore the area. Easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. We found a great place to have dinner in downtown Edenton and have a few drinks and then had just enough time to walk to the waterfront and catch the sunset. We had requested a bottle of wine for our return and were able to take that and watch the traffic go by on the large front porch during the evening. ”The Hen House is perfect for visiting Edenton. Victoria was so great at moving our days so we could stay for the Rockfish festival. Weather was so nice and we always carry folding camp chairs, so we spent a lot of time relaxing on the back deck which had plenty of shade and a beautiful view of the large back yard and fields beyond.
