”Great hotel for a stop over in Sault Ste Marie. Basic however really clean which is more important. Easy check in and checkout. Staff were very helpful both timees. Got a great night's sleep and appreciated coffee being abailable in the lobby in the morning. Lots of food places available within a 15 miniute walk. Will definitely stay her again if going througjh Sault Ste Marie.”

”My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!”
