”What a great place to vacation! Beautiful and rustic. The cabin is cozy and Jordan supplied so many lovely touches to make it even better. Great spot to relax and enjoy stunning views. The bed was super comfortable and the shower is amazing. The kitchen was well supplied, and we easily made meals there. We will be back, hopefully, soon!”

”We stayed here for 1 night on our UP road trip but wished we would have stayed more! The cabin was super cute and clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5! The kids loved the kayaks and playing in the water. We enjoyed the fire pit that night. The convenience store on the island was great and has a lot of what we needed. We would definitely love to come back and stay longer next time.”

”This is a beautiful place to stay. It's so calm and peaceful. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We spent a lot of time on the porch looking over the lake. Cabin was clean and the kitchen was stocked nicely with cook gear and spices. Located close to grocery store, Dollar general and gas station. If you don't want to cook the pizza patch was really good too. Thank you for the stay.”

”We had such a lovely stay! When I say this is the cleanest and most well kept homes I’ve ever stayed in, it’s not an exaggeration. And I’ve stayed at a lot of vrbo homes. The bit tub was so nice, the basement for the kids was amazing. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and the blackstone was used daily on our stay with easy clean up. ”We had a great time during our stay at the Rustic Moose! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for our 2 night stay. The pictures don’t do the beach area justice- beautiful sand and no people in sight. Felt like we had a mile of coastline all to ourselves. ”My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!”

”We stayed for a week with our three kids (11, 15, 17) and had an AMAZING time! Found plenty to do within 60 minutes, and also enjoyed 3/4 days just hanging at the house. The beach was better than we imagined, watching the freighters was a family affair, the ferry was a breeze and evening fires on the sandy beach was a favorite. We also saw the aforementioned red fox on several occasions, which was cool. We brought our kayaks and loved taking them out. Would love to plan a return trip!”
