”This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. ”We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. ”We really enjoyed our stay at Milly Cottage. It was perfect for our family. A newly decorated property, with a very well stocked kitchen and loads of cupboard space throughout the house. A very comfortable and well laid out living space. Milly Cottage is located on the most impressive of the lakes at the Lower Mill Estate. We loved waking up in the morning with the view of the lake.
