”We reserved the Deluxe room with king size bed. We called Thursday to confirm the room. We told them over the phone, we have 2 dogs. We were not given the room reserved. We were given a room with 2 single beds. The vending machine on the property was out of service. The lamp in the room was not properly assembled and would fall over easily. The staff was very unhelpful in our request and slightly apologetic about things. ”

We left the glass door open in spite of the cool temperatures so we could hear the fountain outside. Breakfast was exquisitely crafted. Altogether a dream stay.”

”Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. We were given a $35 voucher to another cafe for the morning that the Element was closed. We stayed three nights. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed our King bed. Shower and bath. There is no...

”Hotel building is very old but renovated. Room was nice but small. Bed quite narrow for two people. In the morning there was an unpleasant surprise because of no warm water. Reception told that the water heater had broken. Bad luck.”

”Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score.”
