”Easy check in and check out process. If you like the country and mountains this is the place. Conveniently located down the street from the gas station a small store/ restaurant and not a far drive from the Shenandoah National Park. The reason we chose this place is because it is dog friendly and near the Shenandoah mountains. We visited the mountains for some day hikes. The house is nicely kept and spacious with a big yard.”

”It was nicely located for what we wanted to do. The cabin was very nice. It was clean and very well equipped. We did have a power failure one night after a rain storm. As the instructions stated, we contacted the owner and she got back to me within 10 minutes and said that she had notified the electric company. It came on in less than an hour.”

”The house is great with lots of room. The majority of the inside of the home was clean. The basement had dirt and bugs that needed to be cleaned prior to stay. The only uncomfortable bed was the upstairs queen bed. It creaked every time you moved. The outside needed maintenance. ”This was a beautiful place in a secluded nature spot by the river "run". We enjoyed the sounds of the song birds and water rushing by as we sat on the comfort of the covered deck watching the butterflies and birds. It was a great "unplug" time to relax in a beautiful location. The photos represent the space very well.”

”We love staying at this property! We've stayed here before and will stay again. We were definitely disappointed in some of the cleanliness this year. It didn't appear as though the sheets were changed. The clean linens were on the front porch for our entire stay but we didn't realize that they were there for our stay until the day we left. The sheets on 2 of the beds were full of dog hair. We don't fault the owners at all...they have definitely made upgrades from last year. We won't hesitate to...

”Abbey's place worked well for our graduation stay. It is an older property with beautiful solid wood furniture and a comfy feel in a quiet neighborhood about 1.5 miles from UVA. All the amenities are as noted in the listing. The beds were comfortable (not too soft) and the kitchen had everything we needed.
