”This hoktel is in a fairly remote location with little around it in terms of accommodation or restaurants. That said, they do a decent job with food and drinks. Not great for vegetarian options, however. Also, no lift to the 2nd floor in the hotel, only stairs. But overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Lufra Beach Hotel. ”

”As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...

”Great location if you’re planning a trip to Port Arthur - it’s next door. Our cabin was very clean apart from the crockery and cutlery which we had to wash. It was also quite cold. There’s no wifi in the cabins. They have portable hubs, we were told, but none were available when we arrived. The restaurant was shut on the night we stayed. We ordered 2 of their ready meals which were left in our fridge for our arrival and were excellent. ”
