Space was clean and comfortable. We loved the theater room and all the deer that visit in the backyard. The road to house was the only thing that was a little tricky!”

”This place was perfect for our trip. It was very clean and spacious. The game room was a plus for our kids and teenagers. The home had a lot of essentials needed. The only problem we had was the stove was a bit tricky to use but we eventually figured it out. It was nice and semi private. Will stay again if in West Virginia.”

”Loved our stay! The house is roomy, very clean, and even though it is in the middle of a small town, it feels very private. We loved hanging out on the back porch. Peggy adds a lot of little touches around the house to make you feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!Hot tip: visit Tamarack Marketplace for a wonderful selection of handmade West Virginia items. ”

”We enjoyed our stay at Allison’s place. She responded quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate our little family. Her house is cozy and has cool art. It is in a great spot to explore New River Gorge and some tasty restaurants! ”

”This is the cutest little house! Made me feel like Grandma's home with an updated boho flair. Location was close to everything we needed. Visited Fayette Station, Grandview, Sandstone Falls, and dinner ON the river at Kirk's in Hinton.”

”Nicely remolded. We had an issues caused by us. The owner was there to help out within an hour. If you stay there do not lock the door lock. It’s not just a pass through knob. We locked it and of course the code meant nothing at that point. Like o said great response and we moved right along. We will stay there again ”

”Outlaw House was the perfect place to stay for our ATV getaway. There were plenty of comfortable beds for 9 people. The driveway had room for 4 cars, 2 trailers, and 4 ATVs. The porch was peaceful and a great gathering spot in the mornings and evenings. Good location for HM and Outlaw trails.”

”We had a nice stay at this property. It fit our group of 10 (6 tweens/teens) nicely. The neighborhood was quiet and only 15-20 minutes from all of our planned activities. The AC worked well upstairs, but the kids mentioned the basement bunk room was warm. Be warned the driveway is steep and narrow, tricky especially if you have more than 2 cars with your group. ”

”Our host was gracious and prompt with responses.The house was clean, modern, spacious. The game room and hot tub were a real hit with both kids and adults. The dining table seats 8 (our family size) comfortably, and it was so very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. Having an outdoor fire pit is a lovely idea, but the land is so slanted that we decided to give it a pass. Also, there is very little outside area where kids can play. However, I still rate it a 5 for other reasons.”

”Everything was as advertised and exceeded expectations. Beds were very comfortable, we had all the amenities we needed, and the location was a perfect base for our New River Gorge adventures! The train tracks are VERY active, but it was expected and didn’t bother us a bit. The back deck was great for bird watching! We saw many different birds, including herons and even a bald eagle. Highly recommended!”
