”Breakfast was missed the first morning by about 10 minutes ☹️. Second day I got breakfast-nothing to write home about. 🤷‍♀️”

”Staff were very friendly. Had 24 hour breakfast room open which was convenient for families. ”

”First room smelled like stale cigarette smoke even though the hotel is now non-smoking. To their credit, they did switch me to a clean room that did not smell. Be forewarned: the whole place needs a refresh.”

”We only came to this hotel for the pool just to find out it was closed. 4 hour drive for nothing. Couldn’t get a refund. The area is so scary. Everything is abandoned around. The buildings had the windows shot out. definitely didn’t leave the room until it was time for us to go home”

”Property looks nothing like what the pictures portray. Building and Lobby is dirty and smells bad. Rooms are absolutely terrible and dirty. There was food wrapers under my bed and sheets were denchy off white color. I would not recommend this place for anyone. ”

”Rooms are clean and spacious, but pretty basic. The pool areas, atrium, & bar/restaurant are nice. The kids love the ice cream shop and Starbucks on-site. It’s our “go-to” place when staying in Sandusky. ”

”Check in was easy. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint would be is that they don’t have enough staffing. We had a small roll of toilet paper in our room when we checked in. Asked the front desk for more. We had to go to the front desk to get it. Also their snack store was not staffed. Had to purchase through the front desk. Nobody there to help. Other than that…nice and comfortable hotel. ”

”Facility is nice, but there isn't much nearby except for a McDonald's. However, a 10 min. drive away is Avon Commons with a variety of food and shopping options. The biggest drawback is that the road access to the hotel is blocked at rush hour by drivers coming from the Avon Commons area who are trying to get on the freeway.”

”Two things I look for when booking a hotel. Free parking and breakfast. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Two cereal choices and a broken juice machine. ”

”This was my first time visiting Ohio and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The room was incredible, spacious and had everything I needed. It’s a short drive to Westlake for shopping and additional food options. It’s quiet and close to the interstate but not so close that you can hear traffic. I was a solo female traveler this trip and safety is always a priority when I’m traveling alone, I felt safe the entire time and hotel staff were so sweet and remembered that I was solo and...

”We did not have time to swim. The staff was great. The coffee bar was closed but she gave us a coffee it was 5 past close.”
