”The hotel itself was great. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. It was nice and quiet. Plenty of parking. I was glad to see the security camera sign in the parking lot. The neighborhood/surrounding areas were ghetto. It located next to and across from motels, auto shops, tire shops, loan cash store, a gun store, storage place, etc. There were food options around but I would recommend to drive there and lock the car door once you get in, just in case.”

The property was on par with higher rated hotels and had been renovated with quality finishes. The staff I encounted were all professional in appearance, friendly and capable. The parking garage, surround exterior grounds, lobby, halls and my room were all spotless. One of the elevators was out of order but it was a non-issue, the other elevator worked great and I never had to...

”When I pulled in, went to go into the lobby and it was locked with an arrow pointing to a window. There was only a little drawer that I had to pass the hotel manager my credit card and drivers license through that. No intercom so it was very hard to understand her. I’m just a person that would want to have the face to face interaction and not feel like a criminal trying to check in. I would definitely suggest them putting in an intercom so we can actually hear each other. Moving to...

”Overall my stay was okay, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The room wasn’t as clean as I expected when I arrived, which was disappointing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the air conditioning worked well. The laundry facilities were convenient to have, but I hope the property pays more attention to cleaning and maintenance in the future. With better housekeeping, this would be a much better place to stay.”

”The hotel was clean….but for a Hilton Product and the level of service you usually receive …the Hampton Inn and Suites Tacoma disappointed. We stayed a total of four nights and did not receive house keeping services until the morning of the fourth night… even after going to the front desk every night requesting fresh towels. The hotel did mention they only provide daily service every second day, they only offer daily service upon request…but with that said even after two nights, they still did...

”Our room was given to other people when we arrived late at midnight eventhough we booked and paid months ago. They were fully booked so we were put in a different room which wasnt big enough to fit 6 of us. Thats very disappointed. However, the staff who helped us check in was helpful and able to find a solution eventhough this wasnt his fault at all.”

”I didn’t like there was no swimming pool, no hot tub and no out side patio to set outside. For the price of the Hilton garden hotel. I was very disappointed for such a name brand as this with that kind of price tag on it. So yes I was very disappointed to have to go across the street to set at someone else property to enjoy the limited outside for 7 days”
