”The room was clean and ready for early check in. I did not eat the breakfast, but I did check it out while I was getting my coffee. It looked very good and it was so much more than the usual continental breakfast at most places. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was clean. It is also conveniently located close to Coney Island Beach but out of the hustle and bustle area.”

”Overall hotel is OK, just American style sound proofing, there is none. You can hear TVs from other rooms.. And i have visited about 1000 different hotels, and i have never seen breakfast being served on paper plates like in Avid. But overall great hotel.”

”Breakfast was not worth eating and coffee was pretty undrinkable. The dorm-room quality rooms were small but clean. There was no masking the noise level in the hall as every door slams shut when opened. With surrounding guests in and out of rooms all night, bedtime wasn’t possible before 3am. Too pricey for the sub-par overall experience. The rate should run $200/per night or lower. Desk clerks were friendly and very accommodating.”

”I liked the large TV with like to lots of channels, internet and the ability to cast your own device to it. The continental breakfast was good with alot of choices and NY style bagels plus juices that were’nt too watered down like Hampton Inn. The front desk was very helpful. The single elevator was a little small and slow but it served its purpose. The hotel loading zone was very helpful.”

”From start to end this was a disappointment. When we arrived our booking thru expedia never reached the concierge desk and had to go on a call for half hour and get it sorted. The room I had booked was then not available. We were given the family suite to make up for the error but when we got to the tent, approx 6pm the housekeeping had not come yet, we had to wait again for the room to be cleaned, inside the bungalow there was no toilet paper, no water, no tissues and floor was dirty - had to...
