”The cleanliness of the room could have used improvement. Noticed dust and hair in bathroom corners and the bedspread had questionable stains on it. The tub was missing the plug and the gap in the entry door had a noticeable gap. Was ok for us in June but might be an issue in January. I did appreciate being able to park the car directly by the door which made transporting bags to the room very convenient. ”Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but it has gone downhill. Used to have pots of decaf coffee. Now, instant decaf. Used to have pastries but now just small muffins. Television reception was terrible!! Really annoying noises coming from the television on every station. Barely watchable. Price of stay was good but glad we didn’t spend more than we did.”

”Very quiet and peaceful. Everything was comfortable, spacious and exactly what we needed and wanted. The price of this suite was exceptional. We stayed in The Yellow Rose suite which has a king bed in one end of the spacious living room which has a gas fireplace. There is also a separate bedroom. One full bathroom and one powder room off living room. There is a small outside porch with table and two chairs. Inside has dining table with four chairs. A small kitchenette with sink, fridge,...

”I had a very pleasant stay at the motel. The owners were very friendly and always around to see how I was doing or if I needed anything. My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I could drive to the lake in 5 minutes and watch the sunset and walk on the beach. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.”

”Room was clean, that's about it. No Kleenex in the dispensers. NO CHAIR in the room, had to watch TV from the bed. ONE blanket on the bed, that looked like a moving van quilted cover. Couldn't park in front of the room, had to haul everything into the room. Toilet was loose and moved when you sat down. Cheap price, but NOT IMPRESSED.”

”Check in was good - checked in early and our room was ready. Toilet was a bit plugged on our arrival into the room but was fixed when we came back at night. Only complaint was the vacuuming in the hallway before 8 a.m. on Sunday morning! We had looked forward to sleeping in a bit after a long day previous, but that is certainly not a complain against eager and friendly staff - just personal preference. 8 a.m. vacuuming with an 11 a.m. checkout wasn't what we were expecting!”

”Room was clean. Bed was exceptionally firm. King size. We had no bath towels whuch was orovably an oversight. Staff was friendly.”

”Kim and the Chepstow in were amazing. She greeted us with a friendly smile and gave us all the information we requested about the area around the Inn and interesting sites to visit. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us and had it ready at the time we asked. All around an amazing B&B and Kim made the experience something I would recommend to anyone!”

”The room was nice and clean. The strange thing was there was no staff to meet us when we arrived. Instead, there was a sign to call a phone number and the owners in the next house came over to show us to our rooms then left us. We were the only people in the building until we called again for breakfast the next morning when he came over again to make it. There is no pub as the pictures would suggest. This is a 6 room b&b with owners next door situation not a hotel/motel.”
