”From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

”This was a great place to stay for an overnight stop. Really great value. Bathroom was clean and functional. Beds were comfy, although a little rickety. Breakfast was basic, but decent. The staff were really lovely. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC, but for the price, it was very good.”

”Myself, husband and our two teenagers had a good stay at the cottage. The condition of the place is excellent. All beds were comfortable. Great living room/dining room layout, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen size perfect, great for preparing meals in, everything you could need. Outside patio very nice for breakfasting in the sunshine!This is our second stay in the property and we'd heartily recommend it.”

Staff in The Lamb Inn went out of their way to make sure our mid week break was relaxing & enjoyable. ”

”Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan.
Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!”
