”Perfect spot for our annual sisters reunion. The property has a big kitchen and an outdoor grill for easy meals. There are comfortable beds and two full bathrooms and plenty of space for gathering -- even when you can't be outside enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. The big round table in the kitchen is perfect for hanging out. It's nicely decorated without being cheesy or cluttered. We love staying here and look forward to staying again next year.”

”Great escape from the typical tourist areas. Very zen. Close by the lake with a pier, canoes and kayaks for use if you wish. Sit in the adarondak chairs at sunset and listen to the loons calling. Then go back and enjoy the screened porch and the peace. Drive to Portland, Freeport, or Kennebunkport, then back to relaxing evenings!”

”Me and my husband absolutely loved this cottage and the setting. Frye Island is such a cute place and we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry and store where we got picked up for a fishing charter. The beaches on the south and west side of the island were absolutely beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there. 1.5 baths and plenty of space, very private setting at the cottage really help us enjoy our stay.”

”Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)”
