”it’s a very nicely, remodeled home in a very quiet neighborhood. Large kitchen, comfortable beds, there’s a walk-in shower in the finished basement, which was important to us. It’s also close to Geneva, which is a very nice town many restaurants and shops.”

They had plenty of entertainment at the house while I was out at work and also downtown Huntley was just a quarter block away so they were able to enjoy a safe, clean and well kept Historic city. ”This is a very lovely home, beautifully decorated, with charming stained glass windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while exploring the city of Chicago. The host was easy to communicate with and very quickly fixed an issue of the front door not unlocking for us upon our return from the city. Would recommend staying here, and if we are ever back in this area, I would look into staying here again.”

”Overall, no leaks and no bugs. Very run down property needs a lot of work. Beds are reasonably comfortable, AC and Hot Water work well. All other furniture needs to be replaced. Not very comfortable unless you are horizontal in bed. Kitchen Not stocked well, what it does have is old. Kitchen window does not lock i used a wooden spoon to keep it from being slid open from outside. Kind of unsafe if you dont know about it. Again 3 stars is the most it can have. ”We stayed here over St. Patrick's Day weekend and it was great. The neighborhood is quiet and there's lots of good places to eat close by. It was about a 35 minute drive to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium which was perfect. The host Vic was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. If you have little kids and are looking for a quiet place close to the city this is a great option. I would definitely stay here again. ”
