”We were amazed at the size of our room, we had two fireplaces on a little kitchenette along with a very lovely bedroom and a nice bathroom. Location and neighborhood are lovely. A couple things keep it from being perfect. This is our second time staying with them and the hot option on the breakfast hasn't been great either time ( although the coffee is great). The TV did seem to have a mind of its own and stopped working in the middle of our movie, and the fridge in the room didn't work all...

”This was in a perfect spot for us. Walkable to many shops, restaurants and bars. The inn itself was fantastic. Loved the decor and amenities. The coffee machine was wonderful with all the different choices. Checking in and out was very easy and staff was great at communicating. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Austin.”

”Why they can’t have hot water at any point in our five day stay is embarrassing. Or refresh amenities without asking. Or leave hair on floors after cleaning. Or have missing trim on the floors. Been steady fans of South Congress for years and this has been the worst experience. And our last stay. ”

”There is construction next to the hotel that starts at 6:30 am which when you arrive from Los Angeles means is 3:30 am. Had to sleep both morning on the cold marble floor in the bathroom and the hotel made no gestures after many complaints. The worst experience. Not good to stay at all and definitely for that money ! ”

”I had a great stay at Aloft Downtown Austin. Maria at check-in was fantastic—friendly, efficient, and made the whole arrival process smooth and welcoming. The hotel has a nice bar with a great atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the center of everything downtown. I’d definitely stay here again.”
