My fiance and I had a great time here. Staff was nice, the free breakfast was very well-provided (even more expensive places didn’t have any free breakfast), the water pressure and heating was good for both the room and the shower. They had a guy clear out the parking lot when there was over 7 inches of snow. I highly recommend this place for cost effectiveness and quality.

We have stayed here multiple time in the past the person who check us in was not the friendliest.made me very uncomfortable Barely gave us any information about where our room was located didn't even mention that there was breakfast or what time it started or ended. So we didn't even get that. Wifi wouldn't connect. You could hear all the people above foot steps as-well as them snoring. Before when we asked for the suite with the hot tub it use to be located in the back now they gave us i guess an updated version but the tub is smaller and water was cold half the time. I doubt we will stay here again very sad and disappointed since this was our go too hotel

The parking lot and surrounding area felt pretty dark which made me feel unsafe. Then, when I went to the room, there’s a door connecting to the other unit that I couldn’t lock, and that made me feel very unsafe that someone else could just enter my room without my permission in the middle of the night. I felt so unsafe that I chose to leave and stay at another hotel instead of staying the night there.

Gross condition but good location
Picture in our reservation showed a nice jacuzzi and fireplace in the room. Upon our arrival, we were told we didn’t have that. I said this was misleading and the desk clerk said, "yes, a lot of people complain about those pictures." She then offered to give us a room that had one of the features, but not both. I resisted, and she blamed it on hotels.com (not her problem) and that besides, there were no available rooms with both features. Finally she said she would go check. Of course there was! She was young and I give her credit for good customer service skills. The room was large, clean, had a comfortable king bed/decent pillows, small refrigerator, microwave and wet bar. No carpets. Closet was big enough to hold our 4 coats and not much more. Nowhere to hang wet clothes but a desk chair and one upholstered chair. Bathroom was horrible: jacuzzi barely worked, broken tiles everywhere, peeling paint, dripping faucet, paint on tiles, hardware, floor, and fixtures. Heater worked well, but kept going off/on even when turned completely off. Would not stay there again. Very close to grocery stores, places to eat, walking distance to the lake & Stateline/casinos, 5 min drive to Heavenly.

The exterior is in really bad shape. The room we were given had construction debri in front of the door and still needed to be cleaned at 4pm. we had to drive back to get another room because it was around the corner. There was no cream or sugar for coffee maker. Lobby coffee was a half a block away. Heater was loud. Kept waking us up. The only positive, the bed was mostly comfortable. Would not stay again.

I liked that they had Keurig coffee. The sheets and towels were clean. The motel was very run down and dirty. The pool hadn’t been in use for years. Our bathroom sink was cracked, the toilet top was cracked, the floor was cracked and the air conditioner looked like it would fall off the wall and would start on fire if turned on.

The room was really dirty such as the bathroom and the armchair in the bedroom. The upper portion of the walls in the bathroom was filled with drip marks with a brown hue. The fabric armchair was so dirty I could not believe any hotel would not throw it out. Other than those two unbelievable dirty places there was the somewhat typical, somewhat acceptable, “budget” hotel issues such as the gunky light switches and a bed light not working. There was not clothing hangers on the rack. The lady at the front desk was nice.

The conditions were so poor I refused to stay there. Econo Lodge and Expedia are now saying they will not refund the fee. Absolutely unacceptable. Terrible service from Expedia. Horrendous hotel. Terrible experience on all fronts. Do not use Expedia. Do not stay at this place.
