”A very nice, but obviously a bit pricey accommodation. Our room was a short walk from the reception, general store and bus stops.
There was a power outage when we arrived and it lasted for several hours. I would’ve liked to get more info from the staff about it. Breakfast was not included in the room price, which is always a bummer. Also the sound proofing in the rooms could use and update: we could clearly hear our upstairs neighbours walking in their room and I woke up to it. You could also...

”The room was clean and had lots of space, but overall it was a bit outdated. Nothing more to complain about, it was really close to the canyon - within a walking distance easily and we liked our stay.”

”We selected a partial canyon view room with two queen beds at Kachina Lodge. The view from the room was spectacular and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. Kachina is literally steps from the canyon and trails. The check-in and out at El Tovar was easy. We ate dinner within the lounge at El Tovar and breakfast in the El Tovar restaurant - both were delicious. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!”

”The hotel has not been renovated and feels old, uncomfortable, and somewhat dirty. There is no elevator. The heating system in the room was extremely noisy. At breakfast, there was no seating available for hotel guests as ” it was fully booked” so the personell advise to go some nearby cafe. Uncoordinated, no service and sad given the potential it has. ”

”The king suite room we got was across from the hotel listed on the map, more or less the same it just didn’t have access to the bigger swimming pool. Only its own hot tub, the free breakfast was definitely welcoming, especially the staff there, kind and hardworking people all 7 days we were there! The room was comfy and convenient given the amenities, only cons were no ovens or access to a laundromat via the hotel.
