Majatalot – South Rim

”A very nice, but obviously a bit pricey accommodation. Our room was a short walk from the reception, general store and bus stops. There was a power outage when we arrived and it lasted for several hours. I would’ve liked to get more info from the staff about it. Breakfast was not included in the room price, which is always a bummer. Also the sound proofing in the rooms could use and update: we could clearly hear our upstairs neighbours walking in their room and I woke up to it. You could also...

”The room was clean and had lots of space, but overall it was a bit outdated. Nothing more to complain about, it was really close to the canyon - within a walking distance easily and we liked our stay.”

”Room was just ok. Our room (6486) was very small and had an odd smell. The mattress was not what would expect for $450 a night. Nonetheless, the location and ambience make this hotel iconic. If you plan a once in a lifetime trip to the Grand Canyon this is your place. Wish they would invest more in room quality. However, you are not staying there for the room. ”
