”Incompetent but friendly staff”

”1) Airport transfer - the vehicle sent was shocking and was stopped at a roadblock and was due to be fined. The condition of the car was appalling. Thankfully the hotel did not charge me for those trips in full. 2) the hotel says "restaurant" but that's only on demand and if you order in advance 3) hotel is undergoing an upgrade so condition is not great 4) my room was not made up, no new towels, tea/coffee etc 5) wifi password expired at midnight, so any early morning meetings/emails etc...

”Big issues with security there, Arm robbery in front of the property while waiting for the gate to open. Often gates are not working. Electricity goes off there . We were left with huge bill to pay the hired vehicle company. I nearly lost my husband during the incident. Glen Lodge is not a safe place to stay. ”

”Great boutique lodge in Bulawayo. Property staff was very accommodating and hospital. Great convenient location within 10 min of city centre and secured gated parking with 24 hour guard. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the pool. ”

Hotellitaksi oli kallis, mutta minua oltiin nimikyltein vastassa vaikka Etela-Afrikasta saapuva bussini oli 2 tuntia myohassa. Kiitos!”

”No kettle to make hot cup of tea, no milk, no tea or coffee, No toilet rolls No dust bin Sheets were not changed they showed someone had slept on them. A very dust room Shower floor slippery,not scrubbed it was dirty”

”Better than the photos. Beautiful lawned area with great variety of trees. Room very clean with air con, comfortable beds and huge shower room. Everyone so helpful. Liz the manager is very friendly and her chef and team excellent. Water, milk and tea provided on arrival. Fridge in room. We ate there every night. Good home cooked meals. Enjoyed pre dinner drinks at the bar. Breakfast menu great and cooked to order. Good security. We would return if ever in Bulawayo again.”
